What does the price include?
The overnight stay in the selected room type, the buffet breakfast if you have opted for the "bed and breakfast" choice. The tourist tax is not included, for those over 12 years old, it has to be paid at the c/in and the cost is €7.0

Payment
made on arrival, except for "non-refundable" bookings.

Guarantee
a credit card is required for some dates, the Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the full amount of the reservation when the reservation becomes non-modifiable/cancellable.

Can I guarantee the reservation and/or prepay it for a gift, if I don’t have a credit card?
Yes by bank transfer, for this please write to our booking office.

How can I pay at the c/in?
Credit card, Bancomat or cash

Can I cancel my booking free of charge?
You can cancel your reservation according to the rules of the cancellation policy, at the time of booking, present on the reservations page for the chosen date.

Amendments to the booking
after booking you will receive a confirmation email, where there is a section to click for any changes and/or cancellations, the change can be made in compliance with the cancellation policy for the booked date, setted in the page of reservations for the chosen date.

Children policy
They are welcome in our Hotel, when you are booking enter the number and age in the appropriate section, the specific room will be highlighted; children under the age of three (maximum one) can sleep in the room with their parents at no additional cost. Thank you to report in the notes section of the booking if you want a cot, free and upon availability.

Are pets allowed?
Rooms available for those traveling with their 4-legged friends, to be requested at the time of booking indicating it in the notes field, a room with a terrace will be assigned. There is a supplement of € 30 for extraordinary cleaning performed upon departure.

To know before arrival

Check-in
at any time after h. 2:00PM, the hotel is manned 24 hours. In case you have planned to arrive earlier, we will be happy to welcome you and if the room is not available, we will keep your luggage in our. Deposit (free of charge), or if you arrive by car you can leave it in the trunk of your car, if you have reserved a parking space.

Check-out
at any time before h. 11:00AM, the Hotel is manned 24 hours a day. If you have planned to leave later, we will keep your baggage in our deposit for free, or if you arrive by car you can leave it in the trunk of your car if you have reserved a parking space. It is possible to leave the room until 6:00PM, upon payment of a supplement of € 50, based on the availability of rooms and only previous agreement with the Reception at the c/in.

Parking
Available inside the hotel, for those who have booked:
- Available at the hotel upon reservation for 25€ for small and medium sized cars; if interested, write us an email to reserve it; if our parkin it’ll be full, you can park in covered public parking (Piazza Alberti) available at 400m.

SPA
Entrance to the SPA,
- € 20 per person per entrance for the shared SPA
- upon availability, by writing to our e-mail; or by contacting the Hotel +39 (0) 55 623300.
The SPA has: Sauna, Turkish bath, salt room, relaxation area, emotional showers, outdoor hydromassage pool (6x4m), with heated water, open from May to September
Reservation required, first access start from 08 am and last access is from 10 pm during the winter period
During the summer is open 24 hours a day.

Location -
By Train
Arriving at the Santa Maria Novella - Florence train station, reach our hotel by bus number 14 (20 minutes). It stops in nearby via Quintino Sella ("Sella Bellariva" stop), 4 minutes from Hotel Grifone. Taxi service available (15 minutes).

By Plane
From the Amerigo Vespucci - Peretola - Florence airport, the Hotel Grifone is about 9 kilometers away and can be reached in 25 minutes by taxi or in 45 minutes by shuttle bus or tram that stops in Piazza della Stazione (from here take a taxi or bus 14 - see "By train").

By car
Traveling on the A1 motorway (Milan - Naples), “Firenze Sud” exit and follow the signs for the center of Florence. By setting the address of Via Pilati, 20 on the navigator and/or Maps, you will arrive in Via Lanza to enter Via Pilati, you will see a sign indicating one-way access, under this singla it’s written in italian that access to Via Pilati are allowed for Hotel guests, in fact you will find horizontal signs for two-way traffic.

Adjacent to the hotel you can find the “JB7 Restaurant”, which offers Tuscan cuisine. It is also an excellent artisan pastry shop, in the evening there are "Gourmet Pizzas" with a wood oven, open every day. Available for customers of the Hotel, a special menu for € 25 with two course, water and coffee, You can book it at the c/in.
